Collaboration, engagement, visual learning, and connection are all words that should describe the reading environment in classrooms today. Being able to help students read digitally can be challenging at first, but is well worth the effort and helps prepare students for their future. In this session, Holly and Tanya will offer tried and true resources for helping students learn to effectively read in a digital environment. Using the app Subtext, it is easy to help students not only comprehend text but manage the information they take away from their learning. Digital reading strategies are important in any subject and this session will include resources for every subject area.
