"Improving Literacy with iPads"

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

During this session, participants will learn ways to help primary-grade students learn to read more fluently and with greater comprehension. Tools covered will include iPads, the presentation app, Explain Everything, Evernote, iTunes U, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Workshop is appropriate for 1:1 tablet scenarios or classrooms with as few as 1 device. Students working with iPads at a fluency ‘station’ will create video recordings of them reading leveled text. Recordings are then archived along with accompanying notes and suggested reading strategies. Videos can be reviewed with students or easily shared with other teachers, administrators, specialists, and/or parents.
