This workshop is designed for teachers, technology coaches, and administrators who are keen to explore the potential of innovative uses of iPads in an early years classroom and beyond.

Little people are far more than just cute. They are inspiring, curious, risk-taking globally engaged learners who are willing to give anything a shot. In this session participants will hear stories, and see samples of ways young learners are using iPads to create, connect, learn, and share with the world. They will learn how these fearless learners can make choices about their learning, make their thinking visible, and co-create with others. Specific examples will show what is possible through the use of blogs, video conferencing, and microblogging. These examples will demonstrate digital literacy and show how they promote digital citizenship. The examples shared in the early years context can easily be adjusted up to meet the needs of learners at higher grade levels.
