"The Language Classroom 2.0: How Making a Self-Made iBook Has Transformed Language Instruction (7-12)"

The focus of this session is to provide language teachers with pedagogical tools and activities to enhance their language classes and help their students learn in a fun and effective way through the use of a self-created iBook. Our goal is to present ideas on how to leverage the iPad's capabilities in order to make teaching more effective and fluid, and learning more fun and tailored to each individual student. We will present our audience with a variety of ideas and activities that integrate the iPad and language-friendly apps in the language classroom. We will demonstrate a self-created Spanish iBook that has been used for the last two years as a pilot program in our world languages department.
This is a great session for anyone starting out with iPads to those of us who have experience and are looking for more ideas!
