TL;DR -- "Too Long; Didn't Read." It's become an Internet mantra, and one that certainly pertains to lengthy terms of service agreements that we click on without reading. But what do these documents say about student data? Who owns it? Who owns copyright? How is students' privacy and identity protected? This workshop will dig deeper. These are questions that are too often not being asked before applications and various tools are adopted. This session will perform a "close reading" of various companies' TOS and help educators understand them, ask questions about them.
