"Images and Video as a Springboard to Learning"

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Whether you are working with reluctant writers, struggling readers, English Language Learners, or new concepts; photos and videos offer what words alone cannot. Come learn how to use pictures and video to explain concepts, provide a stimulus for writing, and kick-start inquiry-based learning across the curriculum. We'll be integrating tools for the teacher to use as part of instruction, as well as for students to use to demonstrate knowledge and showcase proficiency. Ideas for locating resources, infusing into lessons, student creation, and sharing will be included.
